WHO WE ARE
The Manyara Water Quality Laboratory (MNRWQL) is one of 17 Ministry of Water Laboratories located in various regions of Tanzania.The laboratory was established in 2022 by a partnership between the Ministry of Water (Department of Water Quality Services),RUWASA Manyara Region and the OIKOS East Africa Organization managed and funded by the Italian government.
The Manyara Water Quality Laboratory is responsible for managing and inspecting the water quality of Manyara Region both urban and rural areas;testing of the quality of watewr and waste water ,providing technical advices on the proper use of disinfectant and coagulant in water treatment plants,providing water quality data on various water sources available in Manyara Region and collaboration with various institutions to improve water quality services.
The laboratory provides services to all areas in Manyara Region;RUWASA,Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities,the Basin Water Bodies,Institutions and individuals.
